Added routes cost extra. On Basic, routes 2 and 3 are $50 a month each and route 4 and up $30 each; on Pro, $50 a month per added route; on Growth, $100 for route 2 and $50 each from route 3. On yearly billing GorillaDesk quotes a yearly total and says its toggle gives one month free, while Jobber quotes a monthly rate billed annually, so the two do not line up as printed.

Routing, online booking and QuickBooks

GorillaDesk Basic limits routing to 25 stops. Pro adds online booking, QuickBooks Online sync and GPS device tracking. Jobber has online booking on every plan. Routing and GPS tracking start on the Connect plan, and live vehicle tracking needs a fleet tracking device in the vehicle. Jobber’s QuickBooks Online sync starts on Connect too.

Text messages, contracts and trials

GorillaDesk sells text messages as an extra. Jobber’s two-way text messaging starts on Grow and is not available in the trial, and automated client notifications start on Connect.

GorillaDesk says all plans are month-to-month with no contracts or setup fees. Jobber’s monthly billing with no commitment has no contract; its 1-year commitment option is a 12-month minimum billed monthly. Jobber’s trial runs 14 days on Grow features, and GorillaDesk’s trial button says the trial includes the full stack.

Who should pick Jobber or GorillaDesk

  • GorillaDesk for a crew where many people share one route, since it prices by route and includes users on every plan.
  • Jobber for quote and invoice follow-ups, which start on Connect, published per-user plans and a 14-day trial first.

The limits: GorillaDesk’s Basic routing stops at 25 stops and its pages state neither a trial length nor a card rule, and Jobber charges $29 a month for each extra user. Lawn crews can start with best lawn care software, then see Jobber alternatives and Jobber pricing.
