Best lawn care software: five picks for mowing and maintenance crews

Best lawn care software: the short answer

The best lawn care software for a small mowing crew is Jobber Connect, $139 a month for one user and $199 for 5 users, billed monthly with no commitment, as read on October 23, 2026. It adds routing and automatic quote follow-ups, which Core does not include.

GorillaDesk Basic, $49 a month for one route with free users, suits a crew that shares one truck. ServiceM8 Starter, $29 a month for 50 jobs, suits a small job count, and Kickserv Start, $75 a month for 5 users, suits a flat user count.

Five lawn care tools priced for a small crew

Jobber, Kickserv and Housecall Pro price by users, ServiceM8 by new jobs a month, and GorillaDesk by route, meaning one technician who runs their own route. Jobber's prices exclude sales tax where applicable.

Recurring mowing visits, weather days and routes

Two mowing crews need recurring visits on one calendar. In Jobber, a recurring job adds its visits to the calendar going forward, and one visit or the whole series can be changed. Jobber's lawn care page says visits can be rescheduled after weather delays, and routing starts on Connect.

On GorillaDesk, two crews are two routes, and a second route adds $50 a month on Basic. Housecall Pro lists routes and phone GPS on Essentials, and route optimization and recurring service plans on Max.

Lawn quotes and follow-ups

A Jobber quote can go out by text, and the client approves it online in the client hub, the page where clients approve quotes, check appointments and pay invoices.

Jobber's lawn care page lists suggested add-ons on a quote, such as edging and aeration, and reminders on open quotes. The pricing page puts automatic follow-ups on Connect and optional line items on Grow. Jobber also offers a lawn care estimate template and cost calculator as free tools.
